ABOUT TALIA

Talia Laconi has been a visionary creative from the very beginning, cultivating a natural talent for transforming spaces with refined elegance. Raised in Florida, her early years were marked by an insatiable urge to reimagine her environment — whether repainting walls or reinventing surfaces — a prelude to her distinctive design sensibility.

Though she first pursued Hospitality Management on a full scholarship at the University of Central Florida, it was her experience within the hotel industry that revealed a void: interiors lacking soul and sophistication. A chance encounter with a design team reimagining a hotel lobby ignited her decisive pivot to interior design, leading her to Los Angeles and the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising.

Immersed in her studies and a dedicated yoga practice, Talia developed a design philosophy that marries mindful intention with aesthetic precision — crafting spaces that are as serene as they are striking.

In 2022, she introduced kinney block, a curated collection of sculptural vertical surface blocks inspired by a landmark project on Abbot Kinney in Venice, California. This line exemplifies her commitment to innovation and tactile sophistication.

Today, Talia’s practice elegantly bridges residential and commercial interiors, creating environments that elevate daily living while embodying distinct character and nuance. Her work has graced the pages of The Local Project, Harper’s Bazaar, Architectural Digest, Interior Design, and Real Simple, a testament to her refined vision and industry acclaim.
